What our cooperants say
Across Limburg, people choose local green energy. In their own words.
Bronsgroen is not just a piece of homeland, it's also a colour that radiates warmth and connection. That, precisely, is the definition of a cooperant.
Michel
Hechtel
It's just great to say: look at those solar panels on the town hall and that wind turbine on the horizon — that's mine, with a wink.
Jan
Wellen
Started as a very local cooperative with enormous dreams, Bronsgroen keeps taking on new challenges deep in the local community.
Bert Verleysen
Bilzen-Hoeselt
Decentralisation. Local energy for and by citizens. Local jobs. Money stays local.
Chris
Diest
Access to energy is a democratic right that must not fall into the hands of a few monopolistic companies that are only after more profit.
Johan
Heusden-Zolder
Because I think it's important to invest in renewable energy, and I believe in the added value of citizen participation.
Dries
Alken
To put my savings to sustainable use and keep our energy in the hands of citizens rather than multinationals.
Theo
Lanaken
Bronsgroen has proven to be a reliable organisation. I joined this adventure to do something for our planet. We only have one.

Green electricity through Ecopower
Ecopower supplies 100% green electricity and only accepts customers who are shareholders, for at least €250, in Ecopower itself or in an affiliated cooperative. Two Bronsgroen shares (€250) meet that condition. This is a condition set by Ecopower, not a benefit that Bronsgroen attaches to its shares. Bronsgroen does not supply electricity itself and receives no fee from Ecopower.
