86 cooperative solar panels on the Kunstacademie Noord-Limburg in Lommel, with a capacity of 36.55 kWp and an expected annual production of approximately 33,000 kWh. Art and sustainable energy go together here.

The Kunstacademie offers a wide range of creative programs in visual arts, music, literature and dance. With the solar panels on the roof, the academy actively contributes to the energy transition in Lommel.

This project is part of the broader Lommel initiative in which four municipal buildings were equipped with a total of approximately 475 cooperative solar panels. Financing is entirely through citizen capital: all residents of Lommel can invest and become co-owners.
