HDC Hogevijf

156 cooperative solar panels on the Local Service Center Hogevijf in Hasselt, with a capacity of 57.72 kWp and an annual production of approximately 52,000 kWh. Installed in collaboration with the City of Hasselt, installer G&D Energy and the Flemish Energy Company (VEB).

The LDC Hogevijf is an open house where everyone can come for information, recreation, training and social meetings. The 156 panels on the roof produce green electricity that first feeds the building itself, with the surplus distributed via Ecopower to Bronsgroen's cooperative members.

This was one of Bronsgroen's first projects in Hasselt and demonstrated the fruitful collaboration with the city for installing solar panels on public buildings.
