Wind Turbines Dilsen-Stokkem

Three Vestas wind turbines at the Driepaal site in Dilsen-Stokkem, each 2.2 MW and 175 meters high, in collaboration with Windvision. The turbines produce approximately 15,500 MWh of green electricity annually — sufficient for around 4,500 households — and save approximately 6,000 tons of CO₂ per year. Operational since December 2021.

Construction started on 12 April 2021. This was the first Flemish wind project for both Bronsgroen and Windvision, and Bronsgroen's second wind project after the turbine in Juprelle.

The turbines produce 100% renewable energy for citizen cooperatives. With 1,600 Bronsgroen shares, this project is fully subscribed — a sign of growing support for wind energy in Limburg.
